Once you have decided to use Tattersalls Online, we can have your horse online within 48 hours and ready to be auctioned a week later.
Your horse is the only horse in each sale and will be marketed worldwide to Tattersalls extensive client base as well as to the public at large through digital and print media.
All prospective Vendors should read carefully TATTERSALLS Conditions of Sale for Online Auctions the terms of which apply both to the conduct of the auction and to the sales and purchases made thereat.
Tattersalls will take care of who comes and looks at your horse and when. We will organise the visits in consultation with you to ensure that the disruption to your time is minimised. Physical vettings will also be arranged by Tattersalls.
Use of the Tattersalls repository is mandatory. It is a condition of the sale that the Vendor will make available in Tattersalls repository a veterinary file containing proscribed information depending on the nature of the Lot. A list of the information that the Vendor is required to provide is to be found here.
You will receive an email and a text message every time there is a bid on your horse.
Sales will typically take place over 48 hours, but this will be decided between the vendor and Tattersalls.
A deadline will be set ("the Original Closing Time") with a countdown clock indicating how long there is left to bid.
The Closing Time will automatically be extended by a rolling period of 20 minutes from the time of the previous bid. Once the Original Closing Time has been reached, a period of 20 minutes must elapse following a bid (without any further bid being made during that 20 minute period) for that bid to be accepted as the final bid.
Notification of the sale result will be sent to all participants.

Payment arrangements will be made in accordance with Tattersalls Conditions of Sale for Online Auctions.
