Lot 2191: Mild Illusion, the two-year-old daughter of Requinto and winner of the Listed Bosra Sham Stakes at Newmarket in November, fetches 160,000gns, bought by Henry O'Callaghan of Tally-Ho Stud.
"There are no plans as yet, we'll get her back to Tally-Ho," said O'Callaghan.
It was a bitter-sweet moment for trainer Jonathan Portman.
"Not a bad day's work!"said Portman, who bought the filly as a yearling for 1,000gns, before adding: "But it is a sad day when you sell such a good, sound and genuine filly such as this – they don't come around very often. She is a good friend, too.
"She is the perfect racehorse – she shows nothing at home and then comes alight on the racecourse."
She is owned by a partnership in which Portman has a share and is leased to another group with around 60 members.
"I told all the owners to stay at home,"said Portman.
Underbidders included Yeomanstown and Matt Coleman. (19:42)
Lot 2188: Zain Hana (Shamardal), rated 91 at her best, is bought by John and Jake Warren for 200,000gns.
"We have been here buying performance fillies to send to Land Force, who we are standing at Highclere Stud next year. This filly really was the jewel in the crown, and looks likes she could breed a good horse,"said Jake Warren.
She was sold by John Butler's Charnwood Stables and is the winner of two races. (19:32)
Lot 2145: the Listed two-year-old winner Orlaith (Fastnet Rock), sold by Iain Jardine Racing, is bought by David Redvers for 185,000gns.
She was owned by James Fyffe and Scott Fyffe who bought her privately after she was not sold at auction for €14,500 – Compas Equine securing the deal.
It is a second good result for Micheál Orlandi – he also bought Chrissycross (Lot 1387) as a yearling and she was sold on this week for 95,000gns. (19:26)
The Juddmonte draft (Day 1's mares and today's fillies) concluded with 36 lots sold for an average price of 110,250gns and total sales of 3,969,000gns. (19:01)
Lot 2136 and Lot 2137: are both bought by Richard Brown of Blandford Bloodstock for 260,000gns and 300,000gns.
Brown got some recompense for missing out on the purchase of the preceding top-priced lot as Time Tunnel (Lot 2136) is a daughter of Timepiece, the half-sister to Time Saver.
"We missed the big lot, but it is exactly the same pedigree, just a younger side of the family, so in hindsight I am delighted at 260,000gns," said Brown.
"She is for an established British-based client and the filly will stay in England. It makes such sense to buy from Juddmonte, such outstanding breeders."
Of Wild Rye (Lot 2137) Brown said: "She is for a different client, it was a case of juggling phone calls! It is another British-based owner-breeder.
"There is a huge amount happening in the family, it would be no leap of faith to see in the next ten years the whole page taken up by the first dam.
"Last night was frustrating as trade was so hot, but am really pleased to get these two"
The winner of one race, Wild Rye, by Bated Breath, is closely related to Grand Prix de Paris (G1) winner Zambezi Sun, the Prix Petite Etoile (L) winner Zero Gravity and to the Listed -placed Shared Account, all by Dansili.
Wild Rye is a half-sister to the Group 2 winner Kalabar (Kahaysi) and to the Group 2-placed World Heritage (Kahaysi).
Since the catalogue was printed, Shared Account's two-year-old Pocket Square (Night Of Thunder) has won the Prix des Reservoirs (G3). (18:33)
Lot 2135: bloodstock agent Demi O'Byrne, standing by the back door, sees off underbidders Paul Shanahan and Timmy Hyde, who were standing on the rope, at 750,000gns for Time Saver.
Richard Brown of Blandford Bloodstock was also involved a long way through the bidding process.
"She is for Aquis,"said O'Byrne after signing the docket. "She is very good-looking filly, breeding plans have not been decided but she might well be bred in Europe."
Time Saver, an unraced daughter of Frankel, is a half-sister to the Group 1 winners Timepiece and Passage Of Time, the dam of dual Group 2 winner and sire Time Test. Time Saver is also a half-sister to the Group 2 winner Father Time and to the Listed winner Continuum.
Under the second dam is the four-time Group 1 winner and champion Twice Over.
Aquis is owned by the Hong Kong-based Fung family. The farm was established in 2015 initially at Canungra in Queensland and at Seymour in Victoria.
In 2017, Aquis took over the management of Emirates Park in New South Wales. It now stands 14 stallions, has a broodmare band numbering 186 mares and over 150 horses in training.
Time Saver is the most expensive acquisition for Aquis at Tattersalls to date, exceeding the farm's purchase of the Fastnet Rock colt out of Pride bought at this year's October Book 1 Yearling Sale for 725,000gns. (18:12)
Lot 2126: Racine is heading to Australia, bought by Damon Gabbedy's Belmont Bloodstock Agency for 130,000gns.
"She is for Burnewang North," said Gabbedy. "The farm is in Victoria and is run by Cathy Hains. This is a first purchase in Europe and Cathy was keen to tap into a leading Juddmonte family.
"We did a lot of research into the filly – she had ability and was sent off favourite for her sole run.
"She is by an up-and-coming future champion sire in Kingman, is out of a Group 1 winner in Proportional, from a deep family and she will be an outcross in Australia." (17:53)
Lot 2123: Oboe (Mizzen Mast) is bought by BBA Ireland's Eamonn Reilly for 290,000gns on behalf of Newtown Anner Stud.
"Newtown Anner bought Entwine and so that is the interest with this filly," said Reilly. "She will stay in Europe and she is a good outcross."
An Empire Maker half-sister to Oboe, Entwine is the dam of this year's Nell Gwyn Stakes (G3) winner and 1,000 Guineas third Qabala.
Their dam Flute was a dual Grade 1 winner in the US and a grand-daughter of the Oaks second Media Luna. She is dam of the Park Hill Stakes (G3) winner Eva Luna, dam of the St Leger winner Brian Boru, the Great Voltigeur Stakes (G2) winner Sea Moon and grand-dam of the champion three-year-old colt Workforce. (17:18)
Lot 2118: Inhale, by Bated Breath, is to race on under the stewardship of trainer and today's buyer Michael Bell, the Newmarket-based trainer bidding a winning 115,000gns.
"She is for a group of Irish owners and the plan will be to try and get some black-type," said Bell. "She has not run since July, but she had a flake on a joint which we know about and will treat. She will be a long term breeding prospect for the new owners."
Inhale is the winner of two races for trainer Amanda Perrett and is rated 84.
She is from the family of the champion two-year-old French filly Proportional and the Grade 1 E P Taylor Stakes winner Folk Opera. (17:01)
Lot 2113: the three-year-old filly D'Oro Diva is bought by Mark McStay of Avenue Bloodstock for 175,000gns.
"She is by Medaglia D'Oro, who is a world-class international sire and who is becoming a top broodmare sire too," said McStay.
"She is a beautiful filly from a leading Juddmonte family. There are no plans as yet, but she might suit a stallion such as No Nay Never," added McStay.
D'Oro Diva won twice as a juvenile in France. She is a daughter of the Criterium de Vitesse winner Daring Diva and is half-sister to the Group 2 winner Brooch, the Listed winner Caponta and the Group 3-placed Raymonda.
Under the second dam is the Group 1 Matron Stakes winner Emulous and the Group 3 winner First Sitting.
McStay also bought Lot 2115 – Frisella a daughter of Frankel. (16:48)
Lot 2111: Clematis, the first in this afternoon from the Juddmonte fillies draft, fetches 110,000gns, bought by Stuart Thom of Galloway Stud.
"She is for client Rowan Watts," said Thom. "We bought her half-sister Sepal. She was very talented, but sadly she won't go in foal. We'll take Clematis back to Woburn, and make some nomination plans."
Clematis is by First Defence and out of Faraway Flower, a daughter of Silver Star, a full-sister to Xaar.
It is the family of this year's leading two-year-old and Phoenix Stakes (G1) winner Siskin, also by First Defence. (16:35)
Lot 2084: Poonawalla Astonish Stud from India buys Merletta (Raven's Pass) for 25,000gns.

Merletta is a grand-daughter of Gay Gallanta , winner of the Cheveley Park Stakes (G1) and the Queen Mary Stakes (G2). She was bred by Flaxman Holdings, but raced under the ownership of Cheveley Park.
Gay Gallanta's best was Lennox Stakes (G2) winner Byron, who also finished third in the Prix d'Essai des Poulains (G1).
Merletta is carrying to Cheveley Park Stud's dual Group 1-winning sprint sire Twilight Son, who has first two-year-olds in 2020. (16:11)

Rainbow's Edge is a 2003 mare by Rainbow Quest and is out of the Listed winner Film Script and a half-sister to the Chesham Stakes (L) winner Free Agent.
It is also the family of Chipchase Stakes (G3) winner Barney McGrew.
The third dam is Starlet, a champion older mare in England in 1990, and dam of Prix de Pomone (G2) and third in the Ribblesdale Stakes (G2).
Rainbow's Edge was sold by The National Stud for 55,000gns in-foal to Cracksman. (15:18)
Lot 2056: Rob Speers / Old Mill Stud buys a seventh horse this week, but Marilu, a daughter of Maxios and in-foal to Sea The Moon, has a different plan mapped out for her.
"She is for Mr Arcai's farm in Turkey," said Speers. "We bought Strawberrymystique here carrying to Sea The Moon. The colt won as a two-year-old and won by half the track –unfortunately he suffered a career-ending injury."
The team has been looking to repeat the feat and Marilu could be the one – she is carrying a colt by the son of Sea The Stars.
She has a decent pedigree, too – she is a half-sister to two black-type horses and a grand-daughter of Or Vision, dam of Dolphin Street, Insight and Saffron Walden.

"Rebecca Rolfe has been bought to go to Bungle Inthejungle," said Burns. "He is a son of Exceed And Excel, who nicks really well with mares by Pivotal – Rebecca Rolfe has already had success with Exceed And Excel."
Bungle Inthejungle stands at the Burns' family's Rathasker Stud at a fee of €12,000. He is the sire of the 46 winners of 73 races. His leading performer is the Group 2 winner Living In The Past. (13:05)

The daughter of Gregorian won one race and was placed 12 times, five times at Listed level including in the Ripon Champion Trophy Stakes.
Gypsy Spirit, bred by Bearstone Stud, was owned by The Gypsy Spirit Partnership, made up of the Jordan family and friends.
Melissa Jordan, marketing executive at Tattersalls and whose family have been the lucky owners, said: "There has been around eight family and friends involved in the filly.
"The plan had been to sell her as a two-year-old but she has been such good fun – she has taken us to Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood.
"They have all gone in again and bought another Gregorian filly with Tom."
Gypsy Spirit's dam Romany Gypsy is a half-sister to Queen Jo Jo, winner of the Kilvington Stakes (L) and third in the Lowther Stakes (G3). Easter was sold by Norelands Stud – she was a Listed winner and also three-time placed at Group 3 level.

"She is for a new man and is to be a foundation mare. I really believe that she could be the sort to bred a really top class horse – it is a big throw, but she gives me a lot of confidence."
The daughter of Cape Cross was sold by European Sales Management for Martin Schwartz. (19:24)
Lot 1848: the 825,000gns Guerriere (Invincible Spirit ex Mathematicienne) is a third purchase this evening by Rob Speers / Old Mill Stud, the buyer adding to the previous purchases of Butterscotch, by Galileo and out of Lesson In Humility (Lot 1829), and Predawn, by Fastnet Rock out of Perihelion (Lot 1825).

"She is for Craig Bennett's Merry Fox Stud," said Gary Hadden, bloodstock advisor to Bennett.
"This was the only mare we were interested in – she is a stakes-performing daughter of Shamardal and there will not be many of those available in future.
"Her purchase was a no brainer – she is a half-sister to two Group 1 winners, and she is a beautiful model. We have no plans as yet as regard stallions, but she will be option to many options. Hopefully, we can continue with the pedigree."
She was sold by Highclere Stud on behalf of Floors Stud, the 10th Duke of Roxburghe having died in August.
George, the youngest of the Duke's five children, was at Tattersalls to see the sale through.
"I am the only one of my father's children who is interested in racing – Dad gave a great sigh of relief when I developed my interest!" he smiled. "Mum was back at home listening on the phone – it was a big decision, but this is pretty special, Dad would have been very proud.
"Mum and I are going to carry on with 14 mares and run things on a little more commercial basis, though we will keep a few in training too. Ed Sackville will be helping us and he has been great, and John Warren and Lady Carolyn of Highclere have been really helpful too."
From here the 23-year-old George is heading back to Edinburgh University where he is reading history – he has an essay on Stalin to deal with tomorrow. (18:48)

"She has done it already, let's hope she can continue. She is in foal to a hot stallion," said Magnier. "I will imagine she will go to Galileo, but I will have to speak with the lads."
She was bred by Stowell Hill Ltd, the pedigree developed by the late Bob McCreery, who died in December 2016.
His wife Jeanette McCreery said: "I found that more nerve-wracking beforehand. She was very popular all around the ring. We have so many members of the family that something had to be sold to keep it all running.
"It is a great credit to Bob, but credit goes to the Hannons who have made this family."
Coplow's 2014 Dick Turpin daughter Billesdon Bess, a Listed winner for Richard Hannon, was bought here last year for 800,000gns by LTS Agent for Erdenheim Farm.
Coplow's 2017 Sepoy filly called Bruisa is in training with Richard Hannon, while her 2019 Dubawi colt has been retained and will go to Hannon as well.

"Michael is looking to upgrade his mares, and she is a beautiful physical, from a proper deep family and has been well covered. Her progeny will be offered for sale.
"We'd have liked to get her a bit cheaper, but you have to pay for mare such as this!"
Alwaysandforever was a multiple Listed placed performer and hails from the wonderful family of Arctique Royale, ancestress of horse such as Moonstone, Truly A Dream, L'Ancrresse, US Army Ranger and Honolulu.
She is in-foal to Siyouni, last service date May 14. (16:51)

Successful buyer was Eamonn Reilly of BBA Ireland.
"She is for a US buyer and she goes to America," said Reilly. "She won't race on and will be syndicated to bred. She is from bloodlines that rarely come onto the market."
Big Brothers Pride was bred by Ecurie Des Monceaux, Framont Limited and Beauregard Bloodstock and was bought by Meridian International and David Redvers Bloodstock as a yearling for €400,000. (16:21)

"She is from fantastic breeders and has a fantastic page already there and with the promise of much more to come – it is young family. The progeny will be offered for resale."
Terre was sold in-foal to Siyouni and Vigors added: "We don't know whether it is a colt or a filly, but we don't mind. We have not discussed future stallions yet."
Treve herself has a Shalaa yearling and a filly foal this year also by Siyouni. She is in-foal to Sea The Stars.
Criquette Head of Haras du Quesnay said: "I am thrilled. We have lots of fillies at home who are producing well so we were happy to sell." (16:09)
Lot 1776: Architecture, the Oaks and Irish Oaks (G1) runner-up, was sold today by New England Stud and is bought by Northern Farms for 600,000gns.
She was raced initially by Chris Humber and then Lael Stable and trained by Hugo Palmer.
"She was a very good racehorse, and is in-foal to Lope De Vega, which was very attractive for us," said Shunsuke Yoshida of Northern Farm.
Her extended pedigree stretches to Miesque, Permian and the Group 1 winner Old Persian. (15:14)
Lot 1774: "She is for Plantation Stud,"said Mags O'Toole after giving 390,000gns for Stirring Ballad (Indian Ridge). "She has a Kingman inside her and this year Anthony Stroud gave 320,000gns for her Siyouni yearling filly – she has gone to Godolphin."
The mare is a half-sister to the Group 1 Coronation Stakes winner Balisada, and from the talented family of Inchmurrin, Inchinor, Miss Keller, Poet's Word and Venus De Milo. (15:10)
Lot 1769: Azafata, the dam of the Irish Oaks (G1) and Prix de l'Opera (G1) runner-up Fleeting (Zoffany), was bought by Hugo Lascelles on behalf of Peter Brandt of White Birch Farm.
By Motivator, she cost her new connections 625,000gns, sold by Castlepark Stud, the property of A & F Bermudez-Beltran.
"We are very pleased," said Lascelles. "She is dam of a Classic placed filly and there are not many of those available. She will stay in Europe, possibly will come to Lofts Hall.
"Fleeting is very good, and Shawn Dugan spent 400,000gns on Azafata's Olympic Glory yearling this year."
Of stallion options, Lascelles said: "She open to many stallions, but she could go to Dubawi."
Azafata is carrying a March 10th pregnancy to Zoffany and is due to produce a full-brother to Fleeting. (15:01)
Lot 1764: "She is the most beautiful NH mare I have seen in years," said Tom Goff after winning the bidding battle for Verdana Blue at 370,000gns after a head-to-head with Anthony Bromley of Highflyer.
The two dovetailed all the way through from 250,000gns until eventually Bromley turned his back on the auctioneer.
"She is for Michael Tabor and will be going back into training with Nicky Henderson. She is by Getaway, who is doing so well as a NH sire, and she will be targeted now at the Christmas Hurdle," added Goff.
"What happens after and whether she goes to Cheltenham will depend on her run at Kempton, but she obviously will be a fabulous broodmare for the future."
Bred by Ballyhampshire Stud's Edmond Kent, the daughter of Getaway was bought at the Tattersalls Cheltenham November Sale in 2016 by Highflyer Bloodstock for £65,000 for Crimbourne Bloodstock.
She won the Christmas Hurdle (G1) and the Scottish Champion Hurdle (G2) last year. She has also been placed third in the Group 3 Sagaro Stakes on the Flat. (14:51)
Lot 1719: the Frankel mare La Figlia, daughter of the European champion two-year-old, older mare and dual 1,000 Guineas winner Finsceal Beo, is bought by the Japan Hokkaido-based North Hills for 430,000gns.
La Figlia is also a half-sister to the Group 2 Beresford Stakes winner Ol'Man River (Montjeu).
"Frankel has done well in Japan,"said Dr Fukuda representing Koji Maeda's North Hills. "La Figlia's dam was a champion and she is by a champion. She will travel straight to Japan and the plan will be to send her to visit Kizuna."
A son of Deep Impact, Kizuna stands at Shadai Stallion Station and was bred by North Hills.
He won the Tokyo Yushun (the Japanese Derby) and was the Japanese leading first-season sire in 2019 with 24 winners so far. His leading performer was the Group 3 Hakodate Nisai Stakes winner Bien Fait, also bred by North Hills.
Underbidder on La Figlia was Anthony Thompson of Widden Stud.
She was consigned by The National Stud, responsible for selling four mares this week owned by Paul Makin, whose stock is being dispersed. (13:30)
Lot 1717: Kern/Lillingston Association buys Blanc De Chine (Dark Angel), the dam of the Group 1 winner and sire Havana Grey, for 370,000gns. She was sold by Mickley Stud.
"She is for a new partnership and will be going to Ireland," said Luke Lillingston. "She is the most beautiful mare, a real sprinting type, and, as she is the dam of a Group 1 winner, we knew we'd have to press hard.
"She comes from a proper family that stretches back to Al Bahathri that goes off in all directions to some very good racehorses. She has bred a good one, comes from a good family and is by Dark Angel."
Underbidders included Whitsbury Manor Stud, the farm standing Havana Grey, and Yeomanstown Stud.
She was sold by Mickley Stud and Richard Kent said: "We are selling with a heavy heart. She was owned in partnership between Michael Owen and the late Lady Lonsdale, who died in March. All of her stock is being sold." (13:08)
Lot 1715: Cintra, the half-sister to Grandera, George Washington and Sun Central, bought here as a maiden mare last year for 90,000gns by High Valley Equine, is sold today for 400,000gns, bought by James Wigan's London Thoroughbred Services as agent for Erdenheim Farm.
"We put together a partnership with Amanda Skiffington," said consignor Anna Sundstrom. "We did not think we'd buy here last year, she has the most amazing pedigree.
"We decided quite quickly after purchasing her that we'd send her to Kingman.
"She has turned into a Queen and I have to thank Charlotte at home for all her work getting her to look like this."
Of the decision to sell, Sundstrom said: "You have to keep the business running and this will finance a lot of things! She was always going to come to Tattersalls to sell – this was her place." (12:50)
Lot 1678: New Providence, winner of the Dick Poole Stakes (G3) and placed in the Nell Gwyn Stakes (G3), will be relocating to Japan having been purchased by Shadai Farm for 200,000gns.
Tetsuya Yoshida is at Park Paddocks in charge of purchasing.
"She was fast and we are looking for speed," he said. "The Zoustar covering is positive too. As she has a March covering she will probably foal in Europe and travel to Japan next year."
By Bahamian Bounty, New Providence has had thee foals: Ferro E Foco a 2017 colt by Muhaarar (the winner of a race since catalogue publication), a 2018 filly by Dark Angel and a 2019 colt by Dabirsim. (11:20)
Lot 1660: it is second time lucky for Deerpark Stud and Suzanne Roberts with Bletchley.
"We tried to buy her last time she went through the ring and didn't get her so we are delighted," said Roberts after buying the mare for 200,000gns.
After purchase here in December 2017 by Keystone Bloodstock / Justin Casse for 320,000gns, Bletchley (Makfi) was shipped to the US for the 2018 season.
She travelled to the US with an Albany Stakes (G2) runner-up spot under her belt, but she added to her black-type stateside with a second placing in Woodbine's Nassau Stakes (G2), as well as fourths in the Dance Smartly Stakes (G2), the Canadian Stakes (G2) and the Maple Leaf Stakes (G3).
The mare, though covered last spring by Kitten's Joy, is not in-foal.
"She was in training until quite late in 2018, and on scanning after her cover they found she was carrying twins. They pinched one, but she reabsorbed the other," explained Roberts, who will be discussing covering options for next spring with Deerpark. (10:50)
