Lot 955: the only lot cataloged here this week by the three-time Group 1 winner Decorated Knight (Galileo) makes 180,000gns, bought by Jamie Railton.
"I sold the mare here last year for 675,000gns and thought she was a beautiful mare," said Railton of Princess Noor, a daughter of Holy Roman Emperor, winner of the Princess Margaret Stakes and runner-up in the Cheveley Park Stakes (G1).
"This is an awfully nice foal, he has got a lot of class and is very smart. It is a lot of money to spend, but that is what you have to do to get foals such as this. He is for resale."
The February-born bay colt was consigned today by Norelands Stud.
Decorated Knight stands at the Irish National Stud, and his fee for 2020 is due to be €9,000. (15:15)
Lot 928: the Kingman colt sold by Norris Bloodstock makes 300,000gns, bought by Wallhouse Slu. The bidding kicked off with a 100,000gns nod from Gerard Lowry of Oneliner Stables, yet another pin-hooker who enjoyed a good time of things at the October Yearling Sales (sold Lot 268, Sea The Stars ex Emreliya for 725,000gns).
The bidding swung around the ring as it rose through the grades, and Gerald Costello ended up as the underbidder.
Purchaser bloodstock agent Jose Hormaeche, who had been sitting near the rostrum through his bidding, said: "He is gorgeous and is coming to Spain, he has been bought by a group of Spanish owners. The plans are fluid, we might bring him back here to sell or we might keep him to race."
The colt's dam Patsy Boyne (Galileo) has a smashing pedigree being a three-quarters sister to the dual Derby, six-time Group 1 winner High Chaparral and to the Group 2 winner, Group 1-placed Black Bear Island.
She is also a half-sister to two placed at Listed level and to the dam of the Group 1 performers David Livingston and Hunting Horn.
The mare was bought here for 300,000gns last year by trainer John Berry on behalf of client and breeder Eric Chen.
"Fair play to John," smiled Norris, who is based near Andover. "He bought the mare here and this foal has sold for her purchase price. She foaled at home and this has always been a lovely foal whom we thought we could bring here." (14:48)
Lot 927: Eugene Daly of Longview Stud, which had a successful October Yearling Sale 2019 (sold Lot 446, Dubawi ex Miss Marjurie for 1,100,000gns) ended up as the underbidder on this colt by Postponed, Stroud Coleman Bloodstock successful at 280,000gns.
The colt was sold by Liam Norris, who said: "He was bred by Lord Margadale and the half-sister Tropbeau, who was third in the Cheveley Park Stakes, is a 20-1 chance for next year's 1,000 Guineas."
Dam Frangipanni was bred by Lady Rothschild's Kincorth Investments Inc and is a daughter of the July Cup (G1) winner Frizzante.
This colt is the most expensive by the sire, a son of Dubawi, to sell so far at Tattersalls. Postponed won four Group 1 races – the Dubai Sheema Classic, the Juddmonte International, the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes and the Coronation Cup. (14:30)
Lot 922: the Yvonne Jacques-owned Carisbrooke Stud sells the close relation to this year's Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Phoenix Of Spain for 260,000gns to Yeomanstown Stud.
"We keep most of the fillies and sell the colts," said Jacques when explaining her reasoning behind the sale, adding: "We need to run commercially and this was a good chance to get some money in. We are aiming to build a quality broodmare band and send them to good stallions.
"My good friend Cathy Grassick helped me to buy the mare Karisma – she is a beautiful mare, and was trained to win one race by Roger Varian," she added.
Grassick said: "Another client bred Phoenix Of Spain and we kept an eye on the pedigree. It was a no brainer to send Karisma to Lope De Vega." (14:18)
Lot 893: the Molan family's County Cork-based Riversfield Stud sells this Caravaggio colt, the next by the young sire to sell for a six-figure sum – bought by Tim Hyde for 150,000gns.

Third dam is the legendary mare Fall Aspen, dam of the Group and Grade 1 winners Hamas, Timber Country, Northern Aspen and Fort Wood.
She is also the grand-dam of Elnadim, Mehthaaf, Ribchester and Dubai Millennium. (13:19)
Lot 864: this colt by Lope de Vega is bought for 230,000gns with an international strategy in mind, reports agent Lincoln Collins and US buyer and businessman John Sykes of Florida-based Woodford Thoroughbreds.
"He is a pin-hook and will go to Mount Coote from here but could be sold back here or in the US," said Collins. "John is very keen to look at international diversification and Lope De Vega is very popular in the US due to the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies' Turf winner Newspaperofrecord.
"This colt is a gorgeous sort, a very easy mover with a great attitude. All the big pin-hookers were on him and it goes without saying we have spent more than we intended!
"His pedigree goes back well, it is a pedigree that could produce a good horse and he looks as though he will be a good horse."
Out of the Oasis Dream mare Freedom March, it is the family of the 1,000 Guineas winner Speciosa and Pride, a champion in France and Europe in 2005 and 2006.

"The mare is at home and she had a fine year with her daughter Forever In Dreams picking up two Group 1 placings in the Commonwealth Cup and then the update in the British Champions Sprint Stakes – she is at home too now," said Marnane.
"Con bought the mare at auction in the south of France – he saw the champion sprinter Marchand D'Or in the pedigree and no horse has been born yet that is fast enough for Con!
"He is a fine foal and it was a plan to sell as a foal while the update was so recent. Caravaggio was a superb racehorse –we wish Rathbarry all the very best and let's hope this colt turns into a fabulous racehorse." (11:14)
Lot 833: "Peter Doyle bought the grand-dam for us way back in 1995," said Nelius Hayes of Knockainey after getting 220,000gns for this filly by Kodiac, Shadwell Estate the purchaser.

"We decided on Time Test because we wanted to use a sire with a bit of scope and he has such a wonderful Juddmonte pedigree, too.
"We have been waiting for the colt to come along!" laughed Barker – the mare having had three fillies before the appearance of this colt on April 1.
Rockme Cockney's two runners to date are both winners and she won a race at three. She is a half-sister to Botanic Gardens, third in the Ripon Champion 2yo Trophy.
Under the third dam is Please Sing, winner of the Cherry Hinton Stakes (G2). (14:35)
Lot 326: the son of the Scat Daddy first-crop sire El Kabeir makes 65,000gns, bought by German pin-hooker Philipp Stauffenberg.
"He is a lovely foal, he had a good walk and is very athletic," said Stauffenberg. "In the ring here he really looked good here and he was a stand out for me today.
"I tried on one by the sire last week and did not get him so very pleased to have bought this foal. I have had luck buying on the first day here before," added the buyer.
Consigned by Ballyreddin & Kellsgrange Studs and bred by School Run Bloodstock, the colt is out of School Run (Invincible Spirit), a half-sister to the Listed winner Noor Sahara.
It is the further family of the Group 1 winner Fairyland, champion two-year-old Dream Ahead, and the Cheveley Park Stakes (G1) placed Princess Noor. (13:49)
Lot 316: bred by Jocelyn Targett and sold by Overbury Stud this filly by Ardad makes 52,000gns, bought by Stuart Boman of Blandford Bloodstock.
"I bought Lastuce here and she was the winner of seven races. I sent her to Chris Walls and she picked up her placed black-type," said Targett.
"This is a lovely foal – it was always the intention to sell as a foal. She is exactly what you'd want a future two-year-old type to be: she is a good walker with a good hip and shoulder. She is just like her sire and her dam was two from two at two.
"Simon [Sweeting] has done a fabulous job producing her and she looked a picture today."
Sweeting's Overbury Stud stands the Group 2-winning son of Kodiac whose first crop are foals of this year. (13:42)
Lot 309: The Blind Leading The Blind Syndicate will be hoping it does not live up to its name after buying this colt by first-crop sire Profitable from Clara Stud for 28,000gns.
The stud's James Cloney said: "Profitable was a good racehorse and we thought he'd put a bit of speed into the mare."
The new ownership syndicate will be hoping that it matches the feat it achieved at this autumn's yearling sales: the syndicate that includes assistant trainers Harry Eustace and James Horton sold a Pride Of Dubai filly for 115,000gns having bought her for just 14,000gns.
It has also been a good year for Cloney – he is breeder of the Middle Park Stakes (G1) winner Golden Horde under the CN Farm banner.
Cloney has one more foal to sell this week – a colt by Starspangledbanner (Lot 554). (13:28)
Lot 247: another second lot in the ring by a new sire catches the eye – this time it is a colt by Cotai Glory and he makes 37,000gns, sold to Troy Steve Bloodstock
Consigned by Church View Stables, he is a half-brother to True To Herself, who finished third in the Knockaire Stakes (L), and out of the Verglas mare Beat The Stars. She is an own-sister to Driving Snow, a Grade 3 runner-up in the US. (11:45)
Lot 240: the second foal offered at Tattersall by the National Stud-based stallion Aclaim sells for 40,000gns, bought by Glenvale Stud.
He was consigned as part of a draft of four by Maywood Stud.
Kelly Thomas said: "We are based in West Wales. this was a lovely foal and is out of our mare Movementneverlies. We bred her and sold her as a foal and then bought her back out of training.
"She is a straight-forward and has been producing well – we sold her first foal by Bated Breath for 34,000gns to Oaks Farm Stables and he then sold as a yearling for £60,000 to Charlie Hills.
"We decided on Aclaim as we are commercial breeders and we invest heavily in first-season sires. We like to sell as foals, we have lots of grass but we are not really set up for yearlings. I like dealing with them as a babies anyway!"
It is not a first good price for the farm – it achieved a top price of 95,000gns in 2017 when selling a Gleneagles colt out of Sweet Coincidence to Tally-Ho.
It has been a busy few days for the draft, as Thomas commented "they have been queuing up to see them!" (11:16)
