Lot 56:
Oak Tree Farm sells this Oasis Dream colt for 210,000gns. it was another purchase by Matt Coleman, but he explained he was acting on behalf of Anthony Stroud and Godolphin.
"I was bidding for Godolphin. I was on the phone to Anthony and David Loder, who are not here – they thought he was one of the picks of the sale. He breezed very well, he obviously has a good pedigree, his mother is a sister to the dam of Calyx. And this is the same cross as Calyx, who is by Kingman. He is a grand looking horse, Norman has done a good job with him," said Coleman.
The colt's dam Needleleaf (Observatory) is out of New Orchid (Quest For Fame). She is the dam of the Group 1 winner African Rose (Observatory), the dam of the Group 3 winner Fair Eva, and of Helleborine (Obserbatory), the dam of Calyx. It is also the family of Distant Music.
Mags O'Toole bought the colt at the October Book 1 Yearling Sale for 67,000gns from Kildaragh Stud.

Lot 50:
Peter Swann of the Cool Silk Partnership, who has enjoyed so much success with breeze-up purchases, rolls the dice again and bids to 265,000gns for the daughter of Night Of Thunder sold by Star Bloodstock.
"We thought her breeze was excellent. She is a real specimen, very strong, she has got a great pedigree – if we can win a race with her we are half way there aren't we? She did the job well. We are delighted and she is the sort of breeze-up horse we are always looking for – she is just built for it, she is not too long in the leg. We just felt it was worth a go," said Swann, who was wearing a Scunthorpe United face mask as chairman of the football club.
He added: "We don't know a trainer yet, we are just going to wait – I haven't accessed my phone yet, I am sure there will be calls! We have got some great trainers that we use, whoever gets her will do a great job. Of the immediate plans we will assess her over the next 24 hours and then decide."
Of the success he, Cool Silk and Coleman have enjoyed from breeze-up purchases, Swann said: "I think we have had 62 winners now! We've been doing it a long time now.
"One of the best ones is Midnight Sands, and he has had a great year for us. He just found the Godolphin Mile (G2) a bit too early for him [eighth, having won the Burj Nahaar (G3) at the beginning of March in Dubai]. He is staying with trainer Doug [Watson] through the summer and he will be going to the Saudi Cup. We think that is a perfect move for him and we'll train him for that – it is worth a few quid!"
Continuing with plans for the new filly, Swann said: "We hope we can have a go at Royal Ascot and try and win the bonus before everyone else! That would be nice. We are looking forward to Royal Ascot and hope the filly takes us there!"
The filly was bought last autumn at the October Book 2 Yearling Sale for 95,000gns from New England Stud by Star Bloodstock. Her second dam Orford Ness (Selkirk) was a Group 3 winner. She is dam of three black-type winners, including the July Cup (G1) runner-up Main Aim, a full-sister to Militate, the dam of this filly.
Swann will be hoping the filly fares better then his football team managed tonight – lost 4-1 to Morecombe.
(20:37)
Lot 34:
the already-named Toronado filly Babycri is bought by Kerri Radcliffe for 210,000gns, a fine pinhook return for Michael Fitzpatrick's Kilminfoyle Bloodstock – she had been bought for €33,000 by Federico Barberini last autumn. The filly is from the family of the King's Stand Stakes (G1) winner and sire Equiano and is a first foal out of the winning Acclamation mare La Undecima.
"She is a very racy filly and looks like she could be a Royal Ascot filly and that is what we are looking for," explained Radcliffe. "She has been purchased for Peter Leidel, who was part-owner of Lady Aurelia. Hopefully, she is another Lady Aurelia! She will be trained in England – no decisions have been made yet.
"Peter has not been back to Royal Ascot since Lady Aurelia, and that was a factor for him. We were happy to take home a filly or a colt, but I really liked her and I think I have a thing for fillies rather than colts. She comes from a good consignor who gets results and that makes a big difference. She is a very nice filly, she behaved well and she did everything right."
The fast Lady Aurelia (Scat Daddy) was trained in the US by Wesley Ward. She travelled over three times to the Royal meeting and won twice. She took the Queen Mary Stakes (G2) as a juvenile in 2016, following up in the 2017 running of the 5f King's Stand Stakes (G1) (ahead of Profitable) before finishing down the field in the same race in 2018 on what was to be her last career start.
She also collected the Prix Morny (G1) in 2016 and finished second in the Nunthorpe Stakes (G1) in 2017 to Marsha.
(19:45)
Lot 25:
the filly by Dabirsim, a half-sister to one winner and out of the Smart Strike mare (Ironique), sold by Aguiar Bloodstock, makes 240,000gns. She was bought by trainer Roger Varian, who was standing on the back wall and signed as Ebonos. She had been bought for €50,000 as a yearling by Robson Aguiar.
"She is a nice filly, plenty of scope, she moves nicely and she looks to have a good mind on her," said Varian. "She did a good breeze and she wasn't blitzed, she looks like there is plenty of horse left to train. She has been bought for a pre-existing client."
Of immediate plans, Varian added: "She is mature, strong, breezed well and no reason not to move on with her. She is not ready for the paddocks yet! We will carry on with her and see how we get on with her. She looks like she could get out in May, but I hope she has got plenty of scope and is not just a 'rock and roll bullet'. She ticked a lot of the boxes in this sale, I am delighted to be training her."
Of the lure of the Royal Ascot/Craven Sale bonus, Varian said: "I don't know if the bonus was the absolute thing that bought this client to the market, but all these incentives can't be bad – but they are jolly hard to win! You can't knock any incentives, through bonuses or through other schemes. Prize-money in Britain is in a dangerous situation at the moment."
The leading performer so far by Dabirism (Hat Trick), who stands at Haras de Grandcamp in France, has been Different League. She was sold by Con Marnane at the 2017 December Sale for 1,500,000gns, the winner of Royal Ascot's Albany Stakes (G3), runner-up in the Cheveley Park Stakes (G1) and third in the Prix Morny (G1).
(19:21)
Lot 10:
this colt by Lope De Vega, sold by Mocklershill, makes 240,000gns bought by Michael Donohoe of BBA Ireland.
"He is for a client in the Middle East, I have had a bit of luck with the sire in Lucky Vega," said Donohoe. "This colt is a very good physical, I liked him as a yearling, thought he might have been a bit raw, but Willie [Browne] has done a great job with him.
"I saw him at Willie's last week before he came over and Willie was quite high on him – and the horse breezed the way Willie thought he'd breeze. He is nice physical, he looks precocious, as though he has plenty of speed and won't take too long. The trainer is undecided, but my client has horses in England, Ireland and in France."
The colt is the first foal out of the Oasis Dream mare Freedom March, a daughter of the US Grade 3 winner Liberally, and from the extended black-type-winning family of Speciosa, Pride and One Foot In Heaven.
The February-born colt was bought for 200,000gns as foal at the 2019 Tattersalls December Foal Sale by Woodford Thoroughbreds from Ballyreddin & Kellsgrange Studs. He did not make his reserve as a yearling at the 2020 October Book 1 Yearling Sale.
(18:44)
Lot 7:
is tonight's first six-figure lot, the colt by Kodiac and produced by Con Marnane, selling for 160,000gns, bought by Stephen Hillen and trainer Kevin Ryan. The colt provided Bansha House Stables with a profitable start to the breeze up season – he was bought at last autumn's Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale (held in Newmarket) for £38,000.
"I am thrilled, and he is going to a good team," said Marnane. "I'd love to see him going on to win the Royal Ascot bonus, I think he is a real candidate for it. He has just been a pleasure to have around, a real gentleman of a horse, he did everything right all the way through. They can run him straight away from here."
Of the colt's purchase for £38,000 as a yearling, Marnane said: "We were just in the right place at the right time! Amy [Marnane] picked him out and he came from a very good farm in Egmont Stud."
He added with a smile: "He will be cheap horse if he wins the bonus – and he has a stallion's pedigree, too!"
Under the second dam the pedigree boasts the speedster and champion older 2018, 2019, 2020 European sprinter Battaash (Dark Angel) and Tasleet (Showcasing), the Group 2 Duke Of York Stakes winner, British Champions Sprint Stakes (G1) runner-up and sire.
All lots that go through the ring at the Craven Sale are eligible for the new £250,000 Craven Royal Ascot/Group 1 Bonus, which will offer a £125,000 bonus for the first Craven Breeze Up winner of any of the six two-year-old races at Royal Ascot.
(18:33)
Lot 3:
the first two-year-old in training to sell at a European breeze-up sale by the globetrotting seven-time Group and Grade 1 winner Highland Reel (Galileo), whose first crop are two-year-olds of this year, makes 95,000gns. He is out of Ensaya (Alhaarth) and hails from the Aga Khan's "E" family.
The bay March-born colt was bought by Newmarket trainer John Gosden and was sold by Malcolm Bastard.

Chairman's statement
At the conclusion of the Tattersalls March Sale, Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony commented:
“The Tattersalls March Sale was added to our 2021 sales calendar in response to the COVID-related disruption to the February Sale and it has generated solid international trade with a good crowd in attendance as well as the now customary prolific amount of live internet bidding.
"It has been great to have been able to host a live sale again at Park Paddocks and we are looking forward to welcoming registered participants to both the Tattersalls Craven and Guineas Breeze Up Sales in the coming weeks, both of which will be conducted with similar COVID protocols in place."
(15:31)
Lot 179:
Reda Al-Khalaf goes to 82,000gns to buy Attracted, the winner of his last two starts. He was sold by Tuite Racing.
"He has been bought for owner Mr Al Turaif," said Al-Khalaf speaking from Saudi Arabia. "He has been bought for our stable and will be aimed at bigger races in Saudi.
"Mr Al Turaif liked the fact that the horse is by New Approach and he is a lightly raced four-year-old so there should be more to come. The name is good, too – Mr Al Turaif is attracted to Attracted!"
Al Khalaf also bought Lot
178, Rock Sound consigned by Saffron House Stables (G. Boughey). Placed second last time out, the six-year-old by Lope De Vega cost the buyer 16,000gns.
The 85-rated gelding, who won last time out over 7f by three and three-quarter lengths off a mark of 75, will ship immediately to Saudi. The country is now in its close season with racing due to resume in six months.
Al-Khalef bought two lots at the Tattersalls Virtual February Sale: Dancing Feet for 36,000gns and Rovaniemi for 60,000gns.
(15:10)
Lot 140:
the sale's expected top lot did not disappoint - Bugle Major, offered by Juddmonte Farms, sells for 90,000gns, bought by trainer Richard Hughes.
The six-year-old son of Mizzen Mast, trained by Pascal Bary, has been lightly raced so far. He won in January and finished second last time out at Chantilly behind the Andre Fabre-trained Magny Cours. He went on to put the form in the book – he finished third in last weekend's Dubai World Cup (G1) behind Mystic Guide.
"I could have done without that happening!" laughed Hughes. "We had Bugle Major marked out some time ago and that added 20,000gns onto his purchase price! He is for an existing owners who have put a syndicate together and wanted a Saturday horse. We were thinking about coming to the breeze-ups, but we found this horse. We said that if we were to buy a horse at the breeze-ups rated 100 it will cost an awful lot of money and you don't have any guarantee. This is a Saturday horse ready for the lads to have some fun with."
Bugle Major's new trainer added: "He has had his issues, there is no doubt about it, but he is six now and all that hard work has been done for him. I had a good history of him from Juddmonte."
Of his age, Hughes said: "There are a lot of horses just lately as eight or nine-year-olds winning Group 1s, there is no stopping them – jump horses only come when they are seven! He has been minded to get him to here."
Bugle Major has run eight times, won three races and finished second three times and third once. He is out of Conference Call (Anabaa), placed second in the Prix Marcel Boussac (G1) and dam of six winners, including the Grade 3 winner Seismic Wave (Tapit) and the Group 1 Grand Prix de Paris third-placed Teletext (Empire Maker).
(13:57)
Lot 138:
the 85-rated Sun Power is bought by new trainer, the former jockey Darryll Holland, who signed under his new business venture Harraton Court Stables. A four-year-old gelding by Night Of Thunder he cost his new buyer 45,000gns, bought from Jane Chapple-Hyam Racing.
"He got beat just a couple of yards at Royal Ascot and was unlucky not win then – we are very pleased with him," said Holland. "He is for owners in the yard, and hopefully we will send him to Dubai, it will be theplan to send him for a race out there."
Holland added: "I will have a word with Jane and get a run down, he has obviously been well looked after and has good recent form and he won in December."
Of his new training venture Holland said: "All is going well at the moment, we are really pleased. The plans is to be back up here in a couple of weeks as we have orders for the breeze-up sales."
Sun Power was bought by Al Sharq Racing at the 2020 Tattersalls Autumn Horses In Training Sale for 10,000gns and has turned connections a decent profit in less than six months.
(13:50)
Lot 134:
Newmarket trainer Stuart Williams goes to 60,000gns to buy the 94-rated Huraiz from Shadwell's draft, previously trained by Mark Johnston.
"He has been bought for Opulence Thoroughbreds, a syndicate that has four horses with me," said Williams. "They wanted a horse to have a bit of fun with on Saturdays and the bigger meetings and nice races – he fitted the profile.
"He is a nice horse, maybe a change of scenery might perk him up a bit. He has been running well and just not managed to get his head in front. He has had a month back at the barn since his last run so we will crack on with him now," said Williams.
Of the horse's history he said: "I spoke to Shadwell and they told me about the horse – they are pretty good like that, they tell you everything they know. There are always have a few issues these types of horses, but at least you know beforehand."
Williams is due to sell one later today on behalf of Opulence. "Album [Lot 169] was bought at the February Sale last year, he ran for the syndicate and won three," added Williams. "If this horse could do the same we will be happy!"
(13:41)
Lot 113:
Global Vision (Markaz) has been bought to join Dr Johnny Hon's Global Group Racing string trained by Chris Dwyer.
Tim Hide, speaking on behalf of the Global Group Racing, reported: "He has won before off this sort of rating. We think he might benefit from being gelded – we will get home home from here and get him gelded. We hope he will relax in his races and and run up to 7f. He already has the 'Global' name so he fits in well!"
The gelding was previously owned by Saeed Manana and trained by James Tate. He is rated 68 and won off 66 at the end of December at Newcastle.
Global Racing was formerly established last November at Albert Stables in Newmarket. Long-term owner Dr Johnny Hon, who is based in Hong Kong, was keen to be involved in setting up a training operation – it is named after his business venture, Global Group. Dwyer, who had stepped away from training for two years, is trainer and Hide assists.
"We have 17 in training and have had seven winners so far," added Hide.
(12:57)
Lot 68 and Lot 100:
are both bought by trainer Valfredo Valiani, through Charlie Dee of Lillingston Bloodstock.
Dazzling Des (Lot
68) is a son of Brazen Beau is rated 77 and won his last two starts at Newcastle over 5f for trainer David O'Meara., Lot
110 is Diamond Dougal (Zebedee). He is rated 80 and was fourth last time out. He was trained by Robert Cowell.
Dee said: "I helped Valfredo buy a three-year-old at the February Sale called Alvarino. When he was not able to get over for this sale he spoke to me and we put a list together for me to look at.
"Dazzling Des was the one we really wanted to get, he won his last two starts and seems to be progressive. David recommended the horse, we were not sure if we'd have the budget to buy him so we are delighted. The client specifically wanted a sprinter for Italy so we are looking forward to him going over. Hopefully, he can give connections a lot of fun.
"Although Diamond Douglas is a six-year-old we were encouraged by his lovely condition, he seems very sound, and Robert recommended him too. We were not sure we'd get him as there was a lot of activity on him. I was delighted that we bought him as I really liked the horse, he is a good-looking sort. He should give the owner a lot of fun, too."
Valiani trained Electrocutionist to two Group 1 successes in 2005.
(12:45)
Lot 51:
Musab A Rais buys last-time-out winner Capla Crusader for 15,000gns from Albert House Stables and trainer Chris Dwyer.

February Sale
Live Virtual Sale
At the conclusion of the 2021 Tattersalls Live Virtual February Sale,
Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony commented;
“Not for the first time in recent months the most important message to convey is one of sincere thanks and gratitude to vendors and purchasers alike for responding so positively to changes and disruptions to the traditional Tattersalls sales format. The collective support we have received throughout the pandemic continues to be an inspiration and cannot be underestimated.
“This is the first time we have had to utilise the ‘live virtual’ format for a sale at Park Paddocks and, apart from fervently hoping it will be the last time, overall the process has worked very well. Feedback from vendors and purchasers has been overwhelmingly positive with the vast majority of buyers using the live internet bidding platform, which served us so well last year.
"Crucially, the quality of the videos and photographs supplied by the vendors has been of a high standard and additional information also available on the Tattersalls website has facilitated the buying process and given the necessary confidence for people to participate from throughout the world. The February Sale has again demonstrated how readily the Tattersalls worldwide client base has embraced our online services and we will be continuing to develop and invest in the Tattersalls online platforms, which have served the industry so well in recent times.
“In recognition of the difficulties which we all continue to face under the current lockdown conditions, we will be staging an additional mixed March fixture taking place March 31 and April 1 here at Park Paddocks for which entries are now being taken. At this stage the intention is for the Tattersalls March Sale to take place conventionally, in compliance, as ever, with any prevailing COVID-related protocols, and timely announcements will be made if it becomes necessary to make any changes to these plans."

Lot 453:
Stiletto, by Frankel and out of High Heeled, is sold by The Castlebridge Consignment to Colm Sharkey for 67,000gns.
The colt was placed once as a two-year-old last year for trainer John Gosden and has a good pedigree page – he is out the Group 3 winner High Heeled (High Chaparral), his second dam is the Group 2 winner Unchartered Haven (Turtle Island), grand-dam of the Irish 1000 Guineas winner Just The Judge.
Sharkey as agent, and with the Hunting Horn Syndicate, has bought six horses over the two-day sale.
(15:40)
Lot 455:
the lightly raced three-year-old Clay, a son of Sixties Icon out of the Seeking The Gold mare Tamso, makes 71,000gns.
Clay was bred by The Rt Hon Lord Rothschild, was owned in training by Nat Rothschild and was sold today as part of the Waddesdon Stud dispersal. He has been in training with Richard Hannon, but will not be leaving the Marlborough-based yard – Hannon was today's successful bidder, buying on behalf of owner John Davies.
Davies has purchased horses from Hannon before – he bought the Grade 1 Stayers' Hurdle runner-up Lil Rockerfella out of the yard to go jumping with trainer Neil King, and the subsequent Group 3 winner Danehill Kodiac in training with Hannon after the horse's three-year-old season.
"Richard has been very good to us, and Clay will be staying with Richard," said Davies. "If Clay continues to progress, and becomes the horse that Richard thinks he will, he should make up into a Saturday horse."
Clay is a half-brother to three winners, including High Church, a Listed winner and Group 3 placed in Australia. His second dam is the Prix de la Salamandre runner-up and Grand Criterium (G1) third Most Precious (Nureyev). She is dam of three Group race winners, the best of which was Matiara, winner of the Group 1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches and the Grade 1 Ramona Handicap (G1) .
Clay has run four times, and has been placed on three of those starts only finishing out of the placings on his debut. His last run in a 1m2f novice stakes at Lingfield saw him finish second, three and three-quarters of a length behind Tamborrada, a progressive son of Dubawi, who is unbeaten in two starts and already on a rating of 91.
(15:04)
Lot 417:
Rovaniemi (Oasis Dream) has been bought by Saudi-based owner Reda Al-Khalaf for 60,000gns, however the horse is staying in training in Britain and with current trainer David Simcock.
Al-Khalaf said from Saudi: "Hopefully, he will be lucky for us, he si the first horse we have in training in the UK. We will keep him with Simcock, he knows the horse already. He looks a fast horse and has a good pedigree. "
BHA rated 81, Rovaniemi is a winner over 7f but has been recently been running over 5f and 6f.
(14:43)
Lot 416:
Green Planet is bought by Anthony Bromley's Highflyer Bloodstock for 40,000gns, and the son of Australia has a dual-purpose career ahead of him.
"We also bought Culture yesterday for 30,000gns, and have the same plan in mind for him," said Bromley. "Culture is going to Jedd O'Keeffe and Green Planet to Alan King. They have both been bought for a new-ish partnership, which is building up a string of a few horses such as this – dual-purpose types we can get straight on with.
"Green Planet has some room for manoeuvre off his handicap mark, and we will step him up in trip. He is a big, strapping horse at 16.3hh, and he has been patiently handled by David Simcock. I love his sire Australia, too."
Green Planet ran fourth in a Huntingdon NHF race in September, second on the Flat at Wolverhampton in November over 1m4f and then finished second in a 1m3f maiden last time out at Kempton in December.
Of future plans, Bromley added: "The idea will be to run them both on the Flat, but we'll get them schooled up so they are ready to run in novice hurdles in May or next autumn."
(14:36)
Lot 414:
the three-year-old colt Fayathaan, by last year's first-season sire sensation Mehmas and out of the Elusive Quality mare Beauty Of The Sea, makes 85,000gns, bought by Marco Bozzi.
A three-time winner, including last month over 7f at Wolverhampton, the Mark Loughnane-trained colt is on a career-high BHA rating of 86. Consigned by DML Racing.
It is a profitable sale for Loughnane and owner Kulbir Sohi – they purchased the colt at the October Autumn Horses In Training Sale for 40,000gns. The horse has won twice since purchase and increased his rating from 78.
Bozzi said: "He going to Italy and to be trained in Milan by Mr Biondi and is for owner Mrs Roveda.
"This is a nice horse, we vetted him and he ticked all the boxes. He is a good peformer, a sharp horse and should suit 7f or a mile in Italy."
(13:44)
Lot 385:
At Ease, sold as part of the Juddmonte Farm's draft, makes 70,000gns. She was bought by BBA Ireland.
A winner over a mile last year as a three-year-old, she is by the stud's leading broodmare sire Oasis Dream and is out of Jostle (Brocco), winner of the Alabama Stakes (G1), the Coaching Club American Oaks (G1) and four further graded races. She is dam of eight winners, including two US stakes winners and a stakes performer.
Michael Donohue of BBA Ireland said: "She is for a current client and she is going to race in the US. There are no plans regarding trainer as yet. She is lightly raced, she has a US pedigree and her siblings went on from three to four. She looks a good physical, too."
Donohoe has not personally seen the filly, but said: "Her videos and photos were very good, and Juddmonte, as always, has been very forthcoming with information. You'd always rather see the horse yourself, but we all have to do what we can in current times."

Lot 365:
Arctic Vega, offered by Andrew Balding's Park House Stables, makes 60,000gns, bought by Almohamediya Racing.
Bloodstock agent Peter Harper was in charge of bidding and said: "He has been bought for Sheikh Sultan and is going to Bahrain. He is a nice, big strong type and should suit racing in Bahrain. We had him vetted – Andrew Balding's yard was very helpful."
The gelding by Lope De Vega won his first career start last February before two runs in the summer picking up a fourth placing at Haydock. Subsequently gelded in the autumn, he has run twice this winter finishing sixth in December at Chelmsford and then winning a month later over a mile at Newcastle.

Lot 194:
another Shamardal filly catches the bids from our online buyers – Beautiful lllusion becomes the virtual February Sale's first lot to reach a six-figure sum when selling for 120,000gns. The daughter of the stakes-winning mare Long Lashes was bought by Mark McStay of Avenue Bloodstock from the Godolphin draft.
McStay, via telephone, said: "She is the daughter of a very good racemare, whom I remember from my time at Godolphin, and she is by a world-class sire in Shamardal. She had ability herself and achieved a good rating of 89.
"I saw her ten days ago at Moulton Paddocks, Godolphin kindly facilitated a visit. She is a good-walking filly, and she was a stand-out today on paper and physically," said the Newmarket-based agent, adding: "She has been bought for an existing client and I am not sure of plans."
As a three-year-old last year Beautiful Illusion won two races for trainer Charlie Appleby. She also finished fifth in the Listed Lyric Stakes at York.
Her dam Long Lashes (Rock Hard Ten) won the Sweet Solera Stakes (G3), and finished third in the Balanchine Stakes (G1) and fourth in the Moyglare Stakes (G1) for trainer Saeed Bin Suroor and Godolphin.
Long Lashes has had three runners and one winner. Her three-year-old filly Dubai Lady and two-year-old colt, both by Invincible Spirit, are to run for her this year, and she had a Dark Angel filly foal in 2020.
Long Lashes is a half-sister to Combatant, winner of the Santa Anita Handicap (G1).

Lot 185:
Symbol Of Love (Shamardal) was knocked down to an online bid from a "Mr O'Callaghan" at 65,000gns.
Turns out it was Tony O'Callaghan of Tally-Ho Stud purchasing for the farm's broodmare band and to visit the stud's leading stallion.
"Bidding was easy online, but that was the only bid we had," he said. "She is for Kodiac – she is by Shamardal and they go well together. She has a good page and she looks a nice filly."
Hello Youmzain, last year's Group 1 winner and new stallion for 2021, is by Kodiac and out of a Shamardal mare.
Symbol Of Love is a half-sister to Firebird Song, and her Group 3-winning second dam Magna Graecia is grand-dam of Territories, the winner of the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat and three-time Group 1 placed.

She hails from the talented family of Lady In Silver, winner of the Prix de Diane (G1), and Riverqueen, winner of the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (G1), the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud (G1), the Prix Saint-Alary (G1) and runner-up in the Prix de Diane (G1).

Lot 152 and Lot 153:
Lot
152, African Plains (Oasis Dream) and Lot
153 Swiss Kiss (Dansili), both consigned by New England Stud, sell for 35,000gns and 48,000gns.
African Plains is from the Juddmonte family of Distant Music, Calyx and Hellborine. She is a daughter of the Group 1 winner African Rose (Observatory) and a half-sister to the Group 3 winner Fair Eva (Frankel). She was sold in-foal to Bated Breath, covered on April 15.
Swiss Kiss was offered by New England on behalf of Lordship Stud. She is carrying to Acclamation and is from Lordships's "Swiss" family being a daughter of the Listed sprinter Swiss Lake and a half-sister to the Group 3 sprinter Swiss Spirit.
Canice Farrell of Knockatrina Stud purchased Swiss Kiss and said: "I'm chuffed! It is a good pedigree, she is a good walking mare, she has a commercial cover and the only negative is that she is a bit late. I hope to send her to either Invincible Spirit or Kodiac.
"I was bidding by phone to Shirley [Anderson-Jolag] of Tattersalls and she told me to go one more to 48,000gns, so I have her to thank! I just have to get the mare home now – I have a bunch of trucks [Farrell also has an equine transport business] in the yard doing nothing!"

Lot 99, Lot 122 and Lot 123:
three yearlings, all sold by Hazelwood Bloodstock fetch 20,000gns, 25,000gns and 26,000gns.

Lot
122 is by Golden Horn out of Lady Heidi (High Chaparral), a Listed winner of the Silver Tankard Stakes, half-sister to the US Grade 3 winner Thewayiam and from the family of Grand Criterium (G1) winner Tenby.
All three lots were bought by Julie Wood's bloodstock arm, Woodstock, a regular buyer at Tattersalls.
She said: "I have been thinking about this all week and it was strange this morning sitting at home getting nervous before bidding! But you look into the screen and it feels just like you are in the ring. It is exciting now I have bought them, we can make plans!"
Of her purchases, Woods added: "They have all been bought to race. I have really fancied Cracksman and liked the look of both of these, and the Golden Horn. They will go to Charlock Stud now and then into training with Richard Hannon."
(13:58)
Lot 71:
the US-bred mare Jumeirah Street, by the leading sire, the late Street Cry, is bought by Cool Silk Partnership / Stroud Coleman for 28,000gns from New England Stud.
A winner and placed on all her starts, she is carrying to Harry Angel on an April 25 cover and is dam of one foal so far, a filly by Brazen Beau.
Jumeirah Street is out of Fashion's Flight (Dixie Union), an own-sister to Justwhistledixie, winner of the Bonnie Miss Stakes (G2), the Davona Dale Stakes (G2) and runner-up in the Acorn Stakes (G1). She is dam of four stakes winners, headed by New Year's Day (Street Cry), who won the 2013 Breeder's Cup Juvenile (G1) and is a sire based in Japan.
It was the third purchase today by Matt Coleman with the Cool Silk Partnership.
Bloodstock agent Matt Coleman, speaking from home, laughed: "The bidding has been easy, it is trying to keep children entertained that is difficult!
"The three have been bought to go to Sands Of Mali and Prince Of Lir, who are both at Ballyhane. Both were raced by Cool Silk and Peter Swann has some breeding rights in the stallions so these mares have been bought for them.
"Celeria (Lot
60) is in-foal to Eqtidaar and Jumeriah Street is in-foal to Harry Angel – Sands Of Mali raced against them both."
Coleman later buys Lot
152, African Plains from New England Stud
